2011 Ford Mustang Prices Released
January 19, 2010 by Alex Spencer via the Road & Track BlogFord Motor Company has officially released base pricing and options for the 2011 Mustang models as well as prices on available options for the revamped American legend. The V-6 Coupe and V-6 Coupe-Premium models, priced at $22,145 and $25,845 respectively, each cost slightly more than their 2010 versions (which were $20,995 and $23,995). But for a significant increase in power—305 bhp from 210 bhp—a couple thousand dollars more is a reasonable tradeoff. It’s the same story for the V-6 Convertible and V-6 Convertible-Premium, now priced at $27,145 and $30,845.
The V-8 Mustang GT pricing, however, really knocks you off your chair. Starting at $29,645 (up from $27,995), the GT Coupe’s 5.0-liter V-8 generates more than 400 bhp, something unheard of for under $30,000. The GT Coupe-Premium is set at $32,845 with a reasonable $34,645 for the GT Convertible and $37,845 for the GT Convertible-Premium.
Keep in mind the 2011 Mustang models will all be fitted with a 6-speed transmission as opposed to the 2010’s 5-speed. Some options that stand out include an automatic transmission ($995), a glass roof ($1995) and the Electronics package ($2340).
