The Auto Show Comes to Town

The Greater Kansas City Auto Show

Starting yesterday and lasting through this Sunday, the greater Kansas City Auto Show will be at Bartle Hall. We will have several of our salesman there to assist you if you need anything. There are discount certificates at our receptionist desk if you are planning on going to the show.

We at Thoroughbred Ford recommend that you do go to the show and compare Ford's products to our competition. This will solidify why Ford is number one in quality and reliability.

Gladstone Goes Green

The Hybrid's are Here!

Tomorrow is a big day for us. Gladstone is going Green and they have ordered 18 Hybrid Escape's. The cars are in cleaned and lined up. Tomorrow morning Channel 41 will be broadcasting live from Thoroughbred Ford.

The city of Gladstone, Missouri is going green and they are starting with Escape Hybrid's to replace every city vehicle, (with the exception of Police and Fire).

Welcome back to Congress

Today the Ford Plan was presented to Congress and Alan Mulally defended the loan requests for the Big 3. The hearings went well and we hope they are all listening. All three of the CEO's drove to DC in Hybrid vehicles. It should be noted that the only one that drove to DC in a production model vehicle was Alan Mulally in the 2009 Escape Hybrid.

The only Auto company that seemed to have a clear plan for the future that is already in process was Ford. The Plan that Ford presented to congress is an adaptation of the plan that Alan Mulally put in place 2 years ago. Ford is revealing its plan to Congress and the United States today. You can review the plan at a new Ford Website:

The Ford Story

Ford is asking Congress to assist GM and Chrysler, and to set up a loan for Ford if they need it. Alan drove to Washington in a 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid...no private jet this time.

Ford also announced their sales for last month and fore the second month in a row, Ford has increased their market share. This is great news.
